Shabu-You Japanese Buffet

We went during the weekday evening and we were able to be seated immediately. Since it's our first time at the restaurant, our waiter went through the process for us. Good selection of non-meat items (buffet) as well as some selections of ready to eat snacks. Cute delivery service - via robot The food was good, I really enjoyed it. Will definitely come back again.

While the experience is fun, the food quality is mediocre. There are different price options but even with the cheapest option, you can only choose 4 different kinds of meats. Vegetable selection for putting into your broth was okay, not a lot compared to other hot pot places. That sushi at the buffet is low quality. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. The prices are too expensive for the lack of meat selection and the food quality. You can find better hot pot places elsewhere.

Didn't get a chance to take photos of all the meats and buffet items, unfortunately, but we went for Course C for about $42/person (Mon-Thurs), 20% off for Seniors 55yo+ daily. Did snag an obligatory vid of the robot servers. Pictured here are not all of our dinner, but different broths: Chicken and two of Tonkotsu (Add $1) (Add Spicy $3); Sparkling Plum Wine ($7); a few Sushi. Different than hotpot and better in my opinion. Enjoyed the individual pots per person. It's all-you-can-eat and it's nice they have an extra charge if you leave excess food. If you want your broth refilled, the servers don't blindly fill the pot which can be wasteful, rather they ask how much you'd like. I think the biggest issue is the restaurant being understaffed, so if you're in a rush or are impatient, this isn't a spot for you. Servers are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. For our seconds, we had to wait a good 10/15min. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed with the amount of guests and food being ordered. The buffet area has something for everyone. This area can be a bit more tidy and be better stocked every so often when items were running low. Again, maybe due to the low staffing situation. The sauce and noodle area can be better situated and would be nice to have guests from a line on each side of the bigger, versus forming a single-file line. The line and wait time can be slow. Speaking of wait time, I highly recommend making a reservation (which we did) if possible at opening time or around 6pm for dinner. Overall, though, the food, staff, and experience was a good one. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Shabu-You Japanese Buffet was on the list of places I was highly excited for. I will say that I have mixed feelings. The atmosphere was pretty good. It looked really unlink any place I have seen which I really liked. The food options were pretty good. My friends and I did not like that the meat offered was not a lot per plate. I did really like that the veggie bar as it had more options for people who cannot have meat. The sauce station was really nice. I like the scallion sauce and the garlic and chili oil. I have to say the service was really poor. By far the worst I have ever had. It more time to get seated and then when we finally did our waitress did not check in and we had to ask for her to take out order. And the drinks we got were not placed in the right areas and even when we used the the iPad and ordered drinks they did not come out right. Overall, I will say I was disappointed.

Great shabu experience, everyone gets an small individual pot. You order your meats and drinks on a tablet. A robot brings you the items that you ordered to your table. You can order as much or little as you want. Sushi option are limited and nothing special, just ok. Seating is best for 2 to 4 persons, anymore you will have to sit at separate tables.

I had an incredible dining experience at Shabu You! The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, and the interactive shabu-shabu cooking style made the meal so much fun. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the menu with their recommendations. The variety of options for both the broth and the protein ensured there was something for everyone. I left feeling satisfied and impressed with the overall atmosphere and service. Shabu You is definitely a place I'll be returning to for more delicious meals!
